Founded in 2014, UCEB began in China as a specialist education consultancy, supporting students and families in Beijing with applications to leading international and bilingual schools. From the beginning, our approach has been focused on one principle: every student deserves advice and support that is tailored to their individual goals, strengths and ambitions.

As our experience grew, so did the scope of our work. We expanded our support to include international university applications, helping students explore opportunities in the UK, US, Canada and beyond. Our guidance covered every stage of the process, from course and university selection to personal statements, interview preparation and communication between students, families and institutions.

Over the years, more than 300 students and families have engaged with UCEB through individual consultancy, information sessions, workshops and student-focused programmes. Many have successfully progressed to leading universities around the world, supported by a team that understands both the opportunities available and the importance of choosing the right path for each individual student.

Today, UCEB is entering an exciting new stage of its development. Having established our experience and relationships within the Chinese education market, we are now developing our presence in the UK.

Our aim is to create a bridge between Chinese families and the UK education system, providing the same personalised and carefully focused support that has shaped our work in China.

Our UK services include support with international school applications, UK summer school opportunities and academic English tutoring. We guide families through the process from the earliest stage of identifying suitable opportunities, through applications, entrance tests and interviews, to the practical transition into UK education.

Being based in the UK gives us an important additional perspective. We can work directly with schools and education providers while helping families in China understand the UK education system, its expectations and the opportunities available to their children.

Our experience in China, combined with our growing presence in the UK, allows us to offer families a more connected approach to international education: local knowledge in China, direct experience of the UK, and a long-term commitment to the individual student.

As UCEB develops its UK presence, we are also building relationships with schools and education partners across the country and preparing to expand our services further, including UK guardianship and ongoing student support.
